How It Works

Our objective is to provide excellent, seamless and great value service as simply as possible: to make the complex simple and the difficult easy. To achieve this we operate in the following ways which we hope you will appreciate and enjoy. More detail is available in each of the detailed service descriptions.

 

Interaqtiv User Account

Setting up an account with interaqtiv is easy and free. Once you have set up your account you will have access to the full range of services. Your account will need to be activated by following the link that will be included in an email sent to the email address in your account details. 

Payment

 

Payments are made in advance using PayPal ™. PayPal offers a full range of secure and simple payment options and the fees for this are paid by us. You can simply pay with a card via PayPal, or you may need or prefer to set up a PayPal account which is free and can set up during the process or in advance at www.paypal.com.

You will be able to follow the easy instructions to purchase text credits which will be allocated to your account immediately upon payment via PayPal. The basic principle is that you buy texts in advance and the more you buy in each purchase the cheaper they are.

 

Applications

We ask that all applications are legal, honest, transparent, ethical, in good taste, inoffensive, and respect the relevant codes of practice. We reserve the right to stop any activity which does not adhere to this request and any unused credits or text income could be forfeit. Details of the Codes of Practice are noted below.

 

Keyword

 

You can chose keywords to use in the various applications including text voting, text to screen, text marketing or simply to route the replies to the email destination of your choice. The price per keyword is an annual rental price and each keyword can be used for each service, though only one service at a time of course. Where a keyword is used for a non-premium rate application then a large number of free text deliveries are included; for higher volumes we may need to make a small charge to cover our costs, so please contact us, giving us full details of your requirements, for more information.

 

Premium Text Services

 

This is where a premium price is being charged to the end user, for services such as text voting and text to screen for example. The codes of practice dictate that monies collected for these services are held for a period by the network operators to allow time for billing queries, and as a result our clients’ share of these revenues will be available three months after the end of the month in which the texts were sent.**  

 

What do users text?

 

Participants text in the format “KEYWORD message” to 60300. This could be pictures or text. It’s as simple as that.

 

Pricing

Please see the details of the specific service. Please remember that texters using the premium text services will pay the premium charge plus their network charge, and they will need to be informed accordingly.

** Interaqtiv's client is the registered account holder who will therefore have agreed to Interaqtiv's Terms and Conditions and to abide by the relevant Codes of Practice. Payouts will be done once Interaqtiv Ltd receives the money from the networks which is delayed by regulation for a period of three months from the end of the month in which the texts were sent. Monies will only be deposited electronically to the account on your registration details so please make sure that your details are correct and up to date at all times. Subject to a minimum transfer value of £10.00. If your account is less then £10.00 then this will accumulate until the transfer value exceeds £10.00 and will be transferred at the next transfer date following the balance being at least £10.00. It is your responsibility to ensure that the bank account details are correct. If the bank account is not valid or does not accept the payment for any reason then after a period of six months the funds will become the property of Interaqtiv Ltd who reserve the right to use them in any way including donating them to charity. All prices and payout amounts are including VAT.
