Text to Screen

We have developed the technology to simplify the process, and reduced the cost of setting up Text To Screen so that it is no longer necessary to have an application with a very large audience of potential texters to make the cost of the set up worthwhile. 

With interaqtiv’s Text To Screen service you can offer great fun and interactivity to your customers and participants and also enjoy sharing in the revenue. There are many price points to choose from, the details of which you will be able to see once you have registered and created your account.

 

Application

There are far too many potential applications for us to list here, and most of them we won’t have thought of yet, but then that’s where you come in!

All we ask is that the applications are legal, honest, transparent, ethical, in good taste and inoffensive. Because we are able to offer such reduced set up costs, it means that the potential applications could be a local event where interaction of the audience with a screen for both text and pictures would be useful. Other possibilities could include a conference, whether business or charity, or perhaps a music event or local web TV channel.

 

Keywords

This is the only set up cost. All the other costs incurred by us in enabling this service will be recovered from our share of the text revenues. For as little as £35.00 you can choose your own keyword for your organisation and/or application. For example, if you wanted to do incorporate Text To Screen in a conference event then you might want to choose an abbreviation of your company name if it is available. If you have a keyword that you have used for another application with interaqtiv you can use it for any of our applications one at a time (the application can be selected once you have logged in to your account).

How It Works

The organiser, having set up the functionality here at interaqtiv, communicates with their participants to inform them that they can text a message in the format “KEYWORD message” to 60300. This could be pictures or text. This is routed as you determine to a computer where checking or censorship can be used as appropriate and then the allowed messages can be displayed on the screen. The screen is a monitor output from the computer, whether large or small. The checking process does not have to be local to the event, can be manual or set up to be automatic, and if you think you might need our help then please email us on the link below.

Price Per Text

There are various text price levels to choose from, ranging from 25p to £5.00 per text. The nature of the application will most likely determine the price level you will select and the choice is entirely up to you. It is of course crucial that your audience is very clear about the costs so you will need to make sure you inform them clearly and accurately. The set up pages will clearly show how much each price point will generate for your organisation.

What Texters Text

Texters will take part by texting “Keyword Message/Picture” to 60300. It’s as simple as that.

Communication & Advertising

The next step is to communicate and encourage your audience to take part. How you do this is up to you as long as you are honest, transparent and ethical, and of course is crucial to the success or otherwise of your event. The following link provides some helpful hints and guidelines:

Set Up & Process

Whatever your application, it is a very easy process to set up:

1. Register, including leaving details of the bank account you want your share
   of the revenue deposited into. You only need to register once to access
   all our services.
2. Choose your keyword.
3. Choose the cost of each text.
4. Email Interaqtiv Customer Services with details of your event so that we can help to make sure it all works smoothly. Please include timings and anticipated volume.
5. Decide on the destination of the texts in your account control panel.
6. Communicate the Text To Screen details and process to your target audience
   and encourage them to take part.
7. Control the subject matter of the texts destined for the screen as required
   and appropriate. *
8. Your audience sees their messages appear on the screen and enjoy.
9. You receive a monthly statement from Interaqtiv Ltd and have the money
   deposited into your nominated bank account **.
10. Enjoy, and then start again with the next event.

* Texts will be delivered to a clearly defined page within your login area where you will be able to allow or disallow the messages for display on the screen. You will have one PC accessing your login area on the Interaqtiv website and another controlling the screen (this may be a third party PC at a venue for example). Your Interaqtiv website will be given a security code for use on the screen PC in order to access the messages to be displayed.

** Interaqtiv's client is the registered account holder who will therefore have agreed to Interaqtiv's Terms and Conditions and to abide by the relevant Codes of Practice. Payouts will be done once Interaqtiv Ltd receives the money from the networks which is delayed by regulation for a period of three months from the end of the month in which the texts were sent. Monies will only be deposited electronically to the account on your registration details so please make sure that your details are correct and up to date at all times. Subject to a minimum transfer value of £10.00. If your account is less then £10.00 then this will accumulate until the transfer value exceeds £10.00 and will be transferred at the next transfer date following the balance being at least £10.00. It is your responsibility to ensure that the bank account details are correct. If the bank account is not valid or does not accept the payment for any reason then after a period of six months the funds will become the property of Interaqtiv Ltd who reserve the right to use them in any way including donating them to charity. All prices and payout amounts are including VAT.
